Is it right for your child?

Rules complexity: medium. Circuits scale from beginner to advanced. Reading fluency needed for the cards. Under 10? Start with Circuit Explorer Base instead — same blocks, no rules to learn.

FAQ

How long does a game take?
Learning Mode plays in about 30–40 minutes; Circuit Specialist runs longer. Honest note: the rules take one full game to click — the 90-second video gets you most of the way.
Is 10+ a hard rule?
Reading fluency for the cards and patience for the timer are what set it. From 8, play as a team with a grown-up — or start with Buzz Trace or Circuit Explorer Base instead. We'd rather say so than take the return.
Do the blocks work outside the game?
Yes — they're standard Labbox blocks, compatible with every kit. The Explorer Edition adds a wooden board and 4 wires precisely for building beyond the game.
Solo mode — really?
Really. You against the reactor's countdown. It doubles as the best practice mode for family game night.
Can I buy individual blocks or replacements?
That's the plan — see Blocks & accessories. Unpriced items take a notify-me until pricing is final.
Is it safe? What about batteries?
Components are protected, so a wrong circuit can't damage anything or anyone. The battery block encloses its cells; no exposed contacts.
